You may use Parchment to request transcripts from Ave Maria University, Ave Maria University of Latin America, College of the Americas, and Ave Maria College. Please note that AMULAC and COA students must provide their entire name for database searching purposes.

All financial obligations to Ave Maria University (AMU) must be resolved before a transcript will be released. If you have questions about your account, please contact the AMU Bursar’s Office (AMUbursar@avemaria.edu or 239-280-1673).

Breakdown of cost

* $19.95 for electronic or printed and mailed transcripts via USPS + shipping/handling costs.

* FedEx, domestic and international, are available as well for additional cost. Both USPS and FedEx

requests will include tracking information.

* Expedited service is available for an additional fee.

Estimated time:

* Electronic transcripts are typically processed within 1-2 business days.

* USPS requests take anywhere from 7-10 business days

* FedEx shipments vary based on which shipping is chosen

Everything for Parchment is done online, including your consent form. It is no longer necessary to print or upload anything to order a transcript. That being said, if you do need to upload any documents to include with your transcripts, you are allowed to upload three pages, not exceeding 300kb and must be either PDF, JPEG, TIFF, PNG, TXT, DOC and DOCX. If you would like a specific ID number included or any other information, we cannot add it onto your transcript. Instead, please put all information on an attached document.

Please check with your school, employer, etc. before ordering an electronic transcript because not all institutions accept electronic transcript, although an electronic (institutionally branded Blue Ribbon secure certified PDF) transcript from Parchment is “official” in its electronic form as long as it is not altered in any way. Each time the file is opened by the receiver, it will be certified electronically (internet connection required) to ensure that it has not been altered. A printed copy of a PDF transcript is not considered official.

A paper transcript is “official” only as long as it remains in its sealed envelope. If you send copies of your transcript to yourself, do not open the sealed envelope if you are submitting it to another university, employer, etc.

Account Requirements

If you are a first-time user of Parchment Exchange, you will need to set up an account. If you already have an account for another school, you do not need to set up another account. The following information is required to ensure timely processing of your request:

* Birth date

* Year graduated or last attended

* Last four digits of your SSN

* Student ID number (optional)

* Email address
