Electronic Delivery: We strongly encourage you to order PDF transcripts whenever possible for more timely delivery.

Holds: The Office of the Registrar will not release official transcripts if you have a Transcript hold on your student record. Contact the office that placed the hold to determine resolution. Once the hold is off your record, email transcripts@iastate.edu to let us know your transcript hold has been removed.

Name Changes: If your name has changed and you want your new name on your transcript, email a name change request with applicable documentation to academicrec@iastate.edu (never send SSN via email for security purposes). Order your transcript after the change is reflected on your student record. Transcripts will print with the legal name per your student record.

Transcripts include in-progress courses, including current enrollments and pre-registered courses for the upcoming term.
